You know how in all those horror films the main character is some wimpy idiot who cant fight back? Well finally in this horror game you get to blow away the things that go bump in the night.

I am probably one of the few women to post a review on an X-Box game, let alone Doom III. However women like to play too, and this fast paced intense shooter is a very good one. Graphics are incredible and playing late at night with the lights turned off and sound turned up (headphones on) makes for one incredibly scary experience. I do agree with others though, that the flashlight switching back and forth is annoying!

The original was a very good game but this one just dosent really bring anything new. I mean really how many games have we seen that are dark and you fight evil creatures. It is a graphicaly great game, the controls could be a little better, but i think one of the worst things is that you can either have your flashlight equiped or a gun i mean give this guy some duck tape. The other bad thing is that it gets repetitive and when you try to go against things like halo and half-life you have to bring more to the table. over all i would still give it a 8.0 out of 10 but I was disapointed in it.
