Pros: Very reliable, comfortable Cons: I'm ready for a new one :-) The Bottom Line: I HIGHLY recommend a 1995 Mercury Villager. It's, BY FAR, the most reliable vehicle I've owned. I recommend making sure it meets your size needs, otherwise, I recommend it 100%!
I bought my 1995 Mercury Villager on January 2, 1999. We missed having a mini-van; our 1990 Dodge Grand Caravan had been totaled out in the flooding around the Tennessee area in February of 1997, and we thought we wanted a car, so we...

Pros: Handling Cons: mechanical problems that can't seem to be fixed
I bought a '95 Villager new. It was a replacement for a succession of bad Grand Am's.
I loved it from day one, and still do, but the problems with it drive me nuts.
It handles nice and has great pick-up (when it's running...

Pros: Easy to drive and park Cons: I don't have captains chairs in the back
I bought a 1995 Mercury Villager two years ago. It had been a demo with 10,000 miles on it when we bought it. I have never regretted the decision to buy it. With two children (ages 7 and 11) a van is a must for our family. If the children gets in a...

Pros: ease in driving, reliable, comfortable, reasonable price Cons: difficulty air conditioning rear seats, lack of storage, problem with sliding door latch on inclines
It doesn't seem that long ago that I was scowling at the idea of having to be seen behind the wheel of a minivan, but then came the kids.
We purchased our 1995 Villager approximately two years ago (it was used when we bought it). It has a...

I am not able to drive anymore due to being handicapped but this vehicle is a dream come true for me. My wife drives this van I get in the back and away we go. This vehicle allows me to put my leg up and away we go to Florida and California. It allows...

Pros: view from middle bench, nissan engine, great family vehicle. Cons: rear window washer, rear radio controls. The Bottom Line: I do recommend this van for a young family. May be hard to have more than one carseat in the back since it only has the one door.
We bought this van used this past summer, it had 89K and now it has about 96K. I would never have bought a Mercury (Ford), we are Honda/Toyota people, but when I learned that this is actually a Nissan engine, I was all for it. We've had no mechanical ...

Pros: Quiet And Smooth Drive. Good Air Conditioning And Stereo. Cons: Poor Quality. Problems, Problems, Problems. The Bottom Line: I don't recommend this vehicle for a long time own because of all the problems. You will end up spending the cost of the vehicle to get it repaired!
Ok, now if you have read about me then I think that you will think that I am not going to be so good with the review because I am only 13. But I think ownership of four years and countless rides I think I can give you quite a review.
Features...

Pros: Comfortable, Easy to drive, good engine and transmission. Cons: Sliding Door Lock, A/C Compressor, Shift Linkage. More horsepower would be a plus. The Bottom Line: If you want a mostly reliable minivan that's not very big but can still carry seven people in relative comfort, then the Mercury Villager is the vehicle for you!
I want to start off by apologizing for my bad grammar, apparently you cannot use dashes, apostrophes and other necessary punctuation when writing a review. After driving a mint condition 1968 VW Beetle for a number of months, we decided it was ...

Pros: Quiet ride. Good AC. Good Hauler. Cons: Wind noise, sloppy shifter, upshift squeak. The Bottom Line: I've had it only a short time, but runs smoothly, doesn't burn oil and is great utility vehicle.
I recently bought this model with 187K on it for $1800. Rides very nice.Body and intererior in excellent shape. Put a set of Yokohama Avid touring tires on it (purchased from www.tirerack.com) - very nice ride. First thing I had to replace was the ...

Pros: It's a minivan, if you need a minivan. Cons: Too many to list. See above. The Bottom Line: Avoid this year's model, or any with automatic seatbelts.
I bought this car with fairly low miles in 1999 from my in-laws who always take meticulous care of their cars; they follow the manufacturer's maintenance recommendations to the letter (my father-in-law is the type that will wash and vacuum a rental car ...

Pros: Same as the Nissan Quest for less $$ Cons: Transmission problems, peeling paint The Bottom Line: Great for a family with pets. Lots of space to transport people & things with relatively no effort. Great gas mileage!
We bought our van used in '01 with under 100K miles. Clean and maintained by the previous owner made the van a good buy.
The transmission has started to "act out" and shift roughly from a stop and when cold. Also makes a "chunking" noise...

Pros: reliable, roomy, lots of extras Cons: no cd player, no automatic doors
This is one of the best. In the 6 years I have owned this van I have had little to no problems with it. Everything seems to be right where I need it and there's plenty of room for everyone. It has a driver side airbag, ABS brakes and automatic front seat...

I purchased my Villager Nautica 2 years ago (35,000 miles). It's a great van. The Nautica version is very nice and an eye turner (blue with white trim). It drives great and has the power available when you need it (comes with a Maxima engine in it),...

I have a 95 Mercury Villager I bought new and it has been nothing but a pleasure to own and drive. I have over 170,000 on it and have never had a major problem. It still drives as good as the day I bought it. It will carry 6 adults very comfortable. My...

Pros: Comfortability and flexibility of seating. Cons: Holding value??
I bought my 1995 Villager used about 2 years ago. I actually traded in a 1993 Villager. If I'm on my second one you can tell how much I like this van. Prior to these two Villagers I had the displeasure of owning a 1990 Plymouth Voyager. The Villager is...
