The square subs have done it again
by jberns1234 ,Oct 07 '04
Pros: Loud, hit hard, deep bass, good looks, durable Cons: Pops when you go too loud, expensive, need a huge box
I have recently bought two of the new 2004 Kicker S15L72 15" Solo-Baric subs and to put it in easy terms, they're amazing. If you want bass that can be heard from blocks these subs are for you. Just when you think they dont get any deeper they do, and wow do they go deep. I am currently running just under 1500 watts RMS to each sub and they hit harder then I want them to. I used to have them in a sealed box that was 6 feet cubed. But three weeks ago I got a new box thats not only ported, but 6 feet for each sub. Now let me tell you one thing. If you have the room for a bigger box, do it. These kicker subs are some of the best iv'e ever heard. The only problem that I found with them was when you turn them up really loud they sometimes make a "pop" sound. But thats normal for square subs. But this went away when I got a bigger box and ported it. If you want advice on what subwoofers to buy, take mine and get these. You won't be sorry.
