Great DVD player for kids.

The Bottom Line: Sony made another great product in my opinion and I will continue to purchase products with this name brand.

We have a family with two children and have gone through several TV/VCR and TV/DVD combo products. After all those died, we went to Best Buy and found this one on sale. It was priced reasonably to similar DVD players. What sold me on it was the brand name and quality of the product.

The DVD player comes with a remote control, AC adapter, DC car adapter, and battery. My oldest child is 8 years old and can operate the controls on the TV and the remote control very well. The battery fits nicely on the bottom of the player and not on the back like some players.

It has dual headphone jacks for both of our children to use. Our previous TVs only had one jack, so we had to buy a splitter which made the plugs stick out further and got bumped more often. The screen also has a nice glossy screen protector to protect the LCD display. I thought this was a good feature, since my kids scratched our last LCD TV. There are enough buttons on the front panel to control most all of the the features of this player if you happen to lose the remote control.


Sony always seems to make quality products and you can't go wrong with this one.
