Works for me!

by melissabear , Mar 25 '07
Pros: inexpensive, works if you use it!
Cons: cant handle higher speeds, shakey, very loud, handles too short/low
After having a c-section I had some weight to loose, but couldn't really get all crazy. Not wanting to take my newborn out on the busy streets for walks, I purchased this treadmill and got moving...slowly When I started out I could barely move, so I ...

Tim2V: Cadence 200 Treadmill Reliability Test

by tim2v , Feb 04 '03
Pros: Inexpensive, lightweight, portable, Wal-Mart. Making muscles.
Cons: 1 HP motor may be marginal (no problem yet)
Update 11-19-2006: I would really recommend to people to get one of these and put in your living room, in front of the TV. Very useful for older citizens who have problems getting around, but could use a little workout a couple times every day. ...

The Only Workout I Got Was When I Went To Return It

by pinknelus , May 01 '03
Pros: It's easy to return it to Wal Mart
Cons: It doesn't work
I bought this treadmill as a gift to my mother who has wanted one for a long time. I shopped around a little and decided to buy this one at Wal Mart because it is inexpensive compared to other treadmills and it has a motor.

When I got it...

Great for the price and smaller people
by hittwell ,Nov 10 '04
Pros: Folds up to store when not in use. Inexpensive.
Cons: A little too smaller for the taller people.
I bought this a week ago. So far so good. I am 5 foot 3 inches tall and weigh around 135. I have found this treadmill to be great for what I needed. It does have only a 1 hp motor but seems to work just fine. I can jog with no problems. I would imagine that a taller person with a longer stride might find this one a little less than what they need.

The Belt Stinks as in P.U.
by pnddkjd ,Feb 14 '06
Pros: Right size for my place. No real bells and whistles which is what I like.
Cons: It literally smells
I have had my treadmill for over 6 months but have only been using it regularly (6x per week) for 2 weeks. When I started the regular use, the belt started smelling. At first I thought it was the guinea pig cage getting dirty real fast. Then my wife went sniffing out the culprit. It was the walking belt. I did some research and it is reported that the belts are made from a material that will begin to smell and there is nothing you can do about it. I washed mine real well and let it air outside and thought I had the problem solved. Then I walked on it this morning and...p.u. It stinks so bad its back on the back deck again.

Poor Design
by v2intruder ,Dec 30 '03
Pros: Easy assembly and small enough to move from room to room as needed.
Cons: Handles are too low to grasp while walking.
I received this treadmill for Christmas and have only walked on it two times. The belt is a little too short and narrow causing me to constantly focus on my stride. If I am too far forward then my left foot steps on the belt guard. If I am too far back then there are two guards for the edge of the belt and my feet hit those. The path is narrow and the user must stay in the center of the belt to have a smooth walk. Although, the largest problem is the handles or rails. I am only 5'7" but the handles are too low. I can only touch them with my finger tips while walking. When I watch TV while walking it is very easy to loose my balance and then I must lean forward / down to catch myself. I let a taller relative use it and it looked as if they were pushing a car while walking.
